Exposing The New Age Movement Part 2 –  On Wandering Souls

Paranormal investigators as what they fondly call themselves have three main reasons why they go out and “hunt ghosts” in known hunted locations.

1. To prove the existence of ghosts and spirits

2. To help the spirit to cross the other dimension

3. To cleanse a hunted place with paganistic rituals.

The paranormal investigators assumed without any iota of evidence that a soul can still wander on earth after dying. A frequent reason why a soul failed to cross or go to the other dimension is that the soul still has some unfinished business on earth or that the soul do not know that he is already dead.

This belief in wandering souls can be traced back into the times of paganism wherein, as warned by St. Augustine in his book The Mystical City of God, that these wandering souls are devils disguising themselves to be lost in order to gain sympathy, recognition and importance. Henceforth, the rituals offered to these wandering souls are nothing but false pagan/demon worship.
The Catholic Church strictly prohibits the faithful to communicate with the dead, either  by using mediums or through their own effort.

“All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to “unveil” the future.[48] Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone…” (CCC, 2116).

We are told that at the moment that a person dies he is judge by God (Particular judgement; Heb.9:27) and would immediately know if he is going to either heaven, hell or purgatory. In light of this fact there is no truth in the belief that souls can still wander on earth after death. If this is the case how can we explain the paranormal experiences of the people? As what have St. Augustine said these are demons pretending to be lost souls.

As Catholics we should not make any attempt to contact the dead either by using mediums or on our own effort.

Exposing The New Age Movement – Part 1

The New Age Movement is nothing but a rebranded form of Paganism. This dangerous movement is making a come back under the guise of harmless paranormal investigation conducted by various groups. There are two types of paranormal investigator, there are those who profits from their ghostly adventure by selling their documentary videos to the main stream media, and those who are serious in contacting the dead. But either way delving into occult practices is very dangerous because it will open the person into extra ordinary demonic attacks.

Basing on the testimony of paranormal investigators there are three types of people who are interested in joining paranormal activities;
1. Those who are curious about the unknown.

2. Those who believe that there are wandering souls that are in need of help

3. Those who wanted to contact their departed love ones

Those who are curious about the unknown or the paranormal are there only to satisfy their curiousity,  they are not likey to join a group and be very active in their activities. Type 2 and 3 people are the ones who are very vulnerable into being harassed by the devil because they are the once who step into the devil’s play ground.
The devil is so decietful that it can pretend to be a lost soul that needs to be helped in order to cross to the other life. The paranormal investigator on the other hand helps this “lost soul” (who is actually the devil in disguise) through thier various occult rituals, then the devil pretends to be helped, thanking the paranormal investigator for coming to his aide. Unknown to the paranormal investigator he is being lured into a vicious cycle of practicing the occult.

Occult practices and paranormal anomalies are the devil’s tool to ensare people into serving him. The Catholic Church gravely prohibits the practice of the occult and/or to believe in them.

All forms of divination are to be rejected:  recourse to satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other preactices falsey supposed to “unveil” the future. Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all cenceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone. CCC 2116

Most people think that resorting to the occult is harmless but in reality it can do more harm than good. Nothing can be gained from practicing the occult, it will only make you go farther from God’s grace and closer to the devil’s grasp.

If anyone in your home are doing occult practices like paranormal investigations, contacting the dead, using mediums to call on a dead loved one or looking into the future. He should be stopped and be enlightened on the dangers of pagan practices.
